Have you seen the new PokerPro hold em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about 2 weeks back when I took a quick getaway with my wife to the WinStar Gambling house in Oklahoma.
As I waited for my turn to be called at the live tables, I noticed how the other individuals at the PokerPro tables interacted with one another. It was quite interesting to say the least. Because the poker table was controlled by a computer, there were no poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the real live experience was stagnant. Perhaps I was the only one that spotted this, but I did notice the gamblers at the table had a dull high quality to them. The reason behind this may well be since there was no human discussion with the dealer, the ambiance was relatively boring and the gamblers looked bored. It was nearly as if I was looking at a live variation of an internet texas hold’em poker room rather than being seated with hot bodied humans. It was a tiny bit spooky and I kept flashing back to a show of ST:TNG and the holodeck malfunctioned.
Since the waiting time for the live tables was over an hour, I made the decision to see how the casino game play was and to understanding this new texas holdem poker gaming technology. Soon after playing a couple of hands, I actually felt like I was betting at residence. The lack of activity at the table was the primary reason. I like to shuffle and stack my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are possible at these electronic tables.
Another thing I discovered was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I bet a good deal of hands at the PokerPro table and noticed that the bet on was a good deal like a web-based holdem poker site. That could have been just a coincidence, except I discovered it to become quite odd.
Following wagering a couple of rounds with this "unique hold’em poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables had been not for me. I’m far better off wagering hold’em poker on the web at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Betting house have been to acquire rid of the are living poker tables, I think they would loose a great deal of players.
