Poker Aces refers to two aces dealt pre-flop. It is the strongest attainable before theflop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But regardless a great many players end up on the wrong end when given these cards.
When you’re dealt a set of Aces, you just do not fold before theflop. You are positioned with the best achievable hand at this part of the round. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I’d say no to that.
Keep in mind, you’re trying to produce as much money from this strong position. You want to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will simply drive most competitors into folding without making a bet.
If you are in the starting position (1st or 2nd to wager), you will make a single bet. Anyone with a decent hand will call, with luck a player may raise. If there has been a raise don’t spring to re-raise or call, pause for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your tactic will be to eliminate any player that might be able to get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise boldly, if you’re lucky you’ll fool one player into believing that you’re bluffing.
If you’re in the center or late spot (near the last to cast your bet) you will observe as everybody calls and then raise. Even though you are sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to avert a show-down. Defend your hand by forcing the other players fold following the flop. If you don’t force out your competition you risk squandering your hand.
