Ah, the poker tilt. If a poker enthusiast states at no time to have peered down the shadow of a looming poker tilt – they are either telling a lie or they haven’t been playing for a long time. It is an unavoidable outcome of competing in Texas Holdem, or in reality any kind of poker.
Since we are assumingly (most of us) in the game for one purpose – to win $$$$, it would make sense that we would gamble appropriately to maximize our profit potential. Now let’s say you are up one hundred dollars off of a $100 deposit, and you take a gigantic blow in a NL game and your bankroll is at $120. You have burned $80 in a round where you were certain to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and held a ten to one edge. And that guy!
